SURECEM 32.5 N is a general purpose cement that is ideal for concrete, mortar, plaster, bricks, blocks, small precast works and DIY applications.
The SURECEM bag is not weatherproof and should be stored under cover, off the ground, on raised timber platform or on plastic sheeting to protect against rising dampness. The bags should be stacked to a maximum height of 12 bags or two pallets. The bags should be used following the First in First out method.
This cement complies with the 32.5 N strength class of RS EAS 18-1: 2017 as per the Rwandan Standard Board which identifies it as:
Where “CEM II” denotes Common and Blended Cement; and “B” denotes an extender percentage content between 21% and 35%. The extender quantity and type vary according to source factory. For CIMERWA producing SURECEM (CEM II/B-P 32.5 N) Pozzolana is the extender used.
First Aid Measures
Product in Eye: Wash eyes with large volumes of water. Seek medical attention. The furnaces (behind the eyelids) should always be checked for congealed material.
Product Ingestion: Ingestion in a harmful quantity is very unlikely to occur. If ingested drink plenty of water and consult a doctor immediately. DO NOT INDUCE VOMITING.
Product Inhaled: Remove exposed person to fresh air. Prolonged exposure at high dust concentrations may cause a cough and phlegm.
Product on Skin: Wash with water and soap.
Note: Remember to always wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) including gloves and a mask before manipulating the cement.
