IT System Administrator Assistant
Position: IT Systems Administrator Assistant
Reporting: To IT System Administrator
Location: Bugarama
Role Summary
The IT Systems Administrator assistant plays a pivotal role in supporting the day-to-day operations of an organization’s IT Infrastructure. This position is responsible for assisting with the installation, configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of hardware, software, and network systems. The role also involves providing technical support to end-users, maintaining IT Documentation, and participating in system upgrades.
Principal Responsibilities:
- Provides support for computer information systems and applications in Bugarama area.
- Installs computer application systems software and hardware.
- Monitors applications systems availability.
- Assist in updating and maintaining IT equipment inventory and apply special security and confidentiality requirements
- Provides support on computer application systems development matters, including security and data backup and recovery.
- Assists with servers management security updates.
- Carry out zealously with loyalty and faithfulness all the entrusted duties and go wherever CIMERWA Plc needs his/her services.
- Do his/her utmost to use and keep safely the material given to him/her.
- Devote his/her time subject to the rules in force to the services of the employer.
- Accept all the rules and regulations governing labor in Rwanda.
- Not to carry out any activity or business competing or threatening the Employer’s daily activities.
- Any other task related to his/her portfolio as it may be assigned by his/her line manager.
Knowledge And Experience Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in IT.
- Admitted to practice in Rwanda
- 3 Years experience in IT in manufacturing or construction industry.
Skills & Competences
- Ability to diagnose and resolve common technical issues efficiently.
- Familiarity with system and software installations, configuration, and updates
- Understanding of cyber security best practices
- Strong verbal and written communication Skills
- Ability to explain technical issues to non-technical users
Special Requirements:
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Willing to work extended hours.
- Basic Understanding of maintenance requirements.
- Honest and trustworthy.
- Able to think through Logically.
